Privacy Policy

Indoguna (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Indoguna”) is the owner and operator of https://www.indoguna.sg and https://maxzi.sg (the “Websites”). Indoguna is committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected. This Policy explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your personal data.

Personal data means data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. Some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include your name, address, email address, telephone number, billing information, and your transaction history.

1. Purposes of Collection, Use and Disclosure

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However if you do not provide your personal data to us, we may not be able to provide the products and services that you require of us.

Indoguna may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:

to process, offer and administer our services and products requested by you;

(ii)

to respond to, handle and process queries, requests, complaints and feedback from you;

(iii)

to administer and process any payments (including refunds) related to products and/or services requested by you;

(iv)

complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;

(v)

for enabling us to perform our obligations and enforce our rights under any agreements or documents that we are a party to;

to communicate with you;

(vii)

to maintain and improve customer relationship; and

(viii)

for marketing purposes via SMS, phone call, email, mail, social media and/or any other appropriate communication channels, with your consent.

We may disclose your personal data:

(i)

to our business partners and external service providers where such disclosure is necessary to provide and administer our products and/or services to you; and

(ii)

to share any of your personal data pursuant to any agreement or document which you have duly shared with us for purposes of seeking legal and/or financial advice and/or for purposes of commencing legal action.

We may collect, use and/or disclose personal data for additional purposes which are not listed above. However, we will notify you of such other purpose(s) at the time of obtaining your consent, unless we are permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”) or any other applicable law to process your personal data without your consent.

Indoguna does not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal data provided via our Websites. We do not use cookies to collect information about you, except those required for supporting certain features of the Websites in order to serve you better.

2. Consent

By submitting your personal data, you consent to us processing such information as set out above. Where you have provided the personal data of another individual, you are deemed to have represented and confirmed to us that you have obtained the consent of such third party to provide his/her personal data to us for processing for the purposes listed above.

You may withdraw consent and request us to stop collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.

We will process your request within a reasonable period of time to process your request (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you). In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.

Your withdrawal of consent may result in certain consequences; for example, we may no longer be able to continue providing our goods and/or services to you or responding to your queries. We shall notify you of the consequences of us acceding to your request before completing the processing of the same.

Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose your personal data where we are so permitted or required under the PDPA or any other applicable laws.

3. Access and Correction

You may make a request (i) to your personal data which is in our possession or under our control and/or (ii) to correct an error or omission in such data by writing via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.

Where you have made an access request, we will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible. In general, our response will be within thirty (30) business days. Please note that we may charge a fee for an access request; we will notify you of the fee amount payable before we process your request.

4. Protection and Retention

The Internet is not a secure medium, hence we have implemented various security measures to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data. Such measures include using firewalls to block unauthorized traffic to our servers and our servers are located in a secured location accessible only by authorized personnel. We have also introduced stringent internal procedures to, amongst others, limit access to your information by permitting employees to access such information on a need-to-know basis only.

Please note that Indoguna cannot held liable for the activities of any third party which are beyond our control, such as ISPs, web-hosting companies, search engines, portals, telecommunication companies etc.

We also have measures in place to ensure that your personal data is destroyed and/or anonymised once the purposes of processing is no longer (i) served by the retention of such data and (ii) necessary for legal or business purposes.

5. Transfer of Personal Data Overseas

Indoguna may transfer your personal data to our service providers (which may be located outside Singapore). By providing us with your information or using our Websites, you consent to the transfer of your personal data out of Singapore. When transferring your personal data overseas, we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

7. Effect of Notice and Changes to Notice

We may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time without any prior notice to you. Any amendments to the policy will be posted on this page, and we may place notices on other pages of our Websites. We will also email you should we make any changes. Your continued use of our services will signify and constitute your agreement to any change(s).
